About The Position

LifeNet Health is searching for talented individuals who will embrace our mission of saving lives, restoring health, and giving hope. As a Production Records Specialist, you will provide support to the post-processing operations to ensure accurate production records, product labels and quality verifications are completed in a timely manner. You will perform data entry of donor and production related information, and clerical tasks related to donor chart documentation and information. This role requires exemplary attention to detail and adherence to defined processes and procedures. This role is critical to the LifeNet Health mission because it is an important step in taking the donor's gifts and transitioning them to the lifesaving and health restoring allografts for patients around the globe.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One (1) year of work experience with reviewing records or performing data entry in a tissue bank, medical device, healthcare related industry, or within an office environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in business administration, Life Science, Healthcare Administration, or related.
  • Two (2) years of work experience with reviewing records or performing data entry in a tissue bank, medical device, healthcare related industry or within an office environment.
  • One (1) year of SAP experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Databases.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Able to convey information verbally and in writing.
  • Able to perform tasks thoroughly and with care; checks work to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Able to prioritize multiple, competing priorities and manage time/workload.

Responsibilities

  • Perform review of documents, data entry, filing and retrieving production records/information into systems.
  • Compile, prepare and copy appropriate donor related documents along with appropriate laboratory results.
  • Assist with quality investigations and sending of routine testing samples.
  • Facilitate improved overall quality, education and completeness and accuracy of record documentation through communication with both internal and external customers.
  • Assist with Quality Verification of tissue and ensure accuracy of all regulated documents.
  • Perform activities associated with equipment management including verification of equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Conduct manual tissue inventory checks and transfer tissue to appropriate departments and locations.
