About The Position
The Production (Ready Mix) Supervisor for the 2nd shift is responsible for providing first-line supervisory oversight to daily operations, including direct reports on the shift/crew. This role incorporates safety into all aspects of the operation, ensuring that safe working conditions, actions, and practices are followed at all times. The supervisor must demonstrate technical aptitude to guide employees in their duties and achieve high levels of efficiency in the use of equipment, machinery, raw materials, and labor. Additionally, the supervisor plays a key role in training and developing assigned employees to meet key performance metrics, while building rapport through effective communication and engagement. The position requires adaptability to shift assignments and overtime, participation in workplace organization and 5S initiatives, and support for continuous improvement projects.
