Summary of Key Responsibilities: Production Quality Control position is responsible for the quality verification and touchup of metal material prep process including, surface grinding, final DA surface finishing, removal of weld spatter, press forming dimple dies, minor weld repairs, and ensuring proper fitment of small part components.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with rapidly changing priorities.
  • Ability to be self-motivated, assertive, and responsive to Company metrics.

  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Contribute to building a positive team spirit and put success of the team above own interests.
  • Ability to speak English fluently.
  • Reliable transportation to comply with company attendance policy.
  • High school Diploma or GED.
  • Must be 18 or over.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Finishing/Fabrication experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Great Attention to Detail.
  • Visual Inspection of Metal Parts and Components.
  • Physical touch up, repair and rework of unacceptable parts.
  • Work upstream to resolve repeat issues.
  • Reliable and consistent attendance.
  • Meet and exceed production throughput goals.
  • Meet and exceed quality standards.
  • Communicate with Leads, Supervisors, and the Quality Team.
  • General preventative care and maintenance of Company supplied tools and equipment.
