About The Position
The Production Planning Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, and expediting plant production processes to assure coordinated manufacturing, machine utilization, and delivery of customer orders on requested due dates. This role involves coordinating and managing the plant production schedule, balancing customer needs with plant/machine production to optimize the effective utilization of workforce, materials, and machinery. The manager will communicate production planning status on a daily basis to customer service, sales, and plant production personnel.
