About The Position

The Production Planning and Control Technician II at AbbVie plays a crucial role in assisting the Manufacturing Manager and Supervisors in Production and Packaging. This position involves coordinating production-related issues across various departments including Production, Planning, Receiving, and Finance. The technician is responsible for ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) while managing documentation related to the production and packaging of filled products. Additionally, the role includes developing trend lines and conducting data analyses to enhance the efficiency of production processes, as well as contributing to environmental, health, and safety goals within the plant.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred.
• Two (2) years of previous manufacturing experience required.
• Working knowledge of cGMPs with practical hands-on experience preferred.
• Experience with Word, Excel, and SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, writes, and circulates for approval all documentation applicable to the production/packaging of filled products.
• Ensures compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Develops trend lines and conducts data analyses of production issues.
• Assists in achieving environmental, health, and safety goals by working safely.
• Performs all assigned duties according to departmental SOPs and cGMPs.
• Remains current on proper procedures by reviewing current, revised, and new SOPs.
• Completes and remains current with all required cGMP and safety training.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
