The Production Planning Analyst will play a key role in supporting and optimizing the site’s production planning processes. This position involves analyzing data, maintaining accurate schedules, and driving process improvements to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery. The Analyst will also develop and maintain work instructions and process documentation to standardize planning practices and support compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain analytics (aerospace or manufacturing preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Epicor experience a plus).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 and aerospace industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer requirements.
  • Monitor job progress and proactively identify potential delays or bottlenecks.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align priorities and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Collect and analyze data related to WIP, inventory, and capacity utilization.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to track KPIs such as on-time delivery, throughput, and resource efficiency.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve planning accuracy and operational performance.
  • Create and maintain work instructions for planning processes and ERP transactions.
  • Develop process documentation to ensure consistency and compliance with AS9100 and other regulatory standards.
  • Support training initiatives by providing clear and accurate documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline planning workflows and reduce lead times.
  • Participate in Lean/Six Sigma projects to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Implement best practices for ERP/MES utilization and planning methodologies.
  • Work closely with production, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure alignment on schedules and priorities.
  • Communicate changes and updates clearly to stakeholders.
