About The Position

The Production Planner is responsible for overseeing the flow of products through various departments in the factory. This role involves managing the bill of materials, sequencing parts, and planning daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality in manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• Knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints.
• Experience in MRP (Materials Resource Planning).
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Strong mathematical and statistical skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the flow of products through multiple departments in the factory.
• Manage the bill of materials and sequence for the parts.
• Plan daily operational production activities.
• Review existing planning including current drawing revisions and work centers.
• Create new planning based on new drawing releases, including item masters and product structures.
• Update existing planning based on new drawing releases.
• Evaluate and disposition current inventories based on new drawing releases.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the department manager.
