About The Position

The Production Planner is responsible for coordinating production schedules, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of products. This role requires collaboration with various teams to optimize production efficiency and meet customer demands, emphasizing attention to detail and analytical skills.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 2+ years in related field, internship, or employed within the company.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other production planning software.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Nice To Haves

• Associates or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, or related field
• APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, resource availability, material availability, and production capacity.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to coordinate production activities and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Analyze production data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize production plans.
• Communicate production schedules, priorities, and updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in production planning and execution.
• Collaborate with operations and quality control teams to ensure production plans meet quality requirements.
• Maintain basic Master Data as required by team expectations.
• Understand metrics and targets pertaining to the business unit.
