About The Position

We are looking for a detail‑oriented and highly organized Production Planner to join our team in Conroe, Texas. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating schedules, managing data, and supporting daily operations in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. You will develop and maintain production schedules, ensure material availability, support facility needs, and help keep manufacturing and repair activities aligned with customer delivery commitments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate Degree preferred
  • 2–3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, office administration, or operations support
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred
  • Oil & gas, valve manufacturing, or API‑regulated experience a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic project management tools
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in scheduling and documentation
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, bills of materials, and routing sheets

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred
  • Oil & gas, valve manufacturing, or API‑regulated experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and publish daily and weekly production schedules for manufacturing, repair, and retrofit operations
  • Review sales orders and delivery dates to prioritize work order sequencing
  • Verify material availability and coordinate with Supply Chain on shortages or inbound shipments
  • Adjust schedules and expedite critical jobs when delays or constraints arise
  • Monitor active work orders and escalate bottlenecks
  • Maintain accurate work order documentation and production records
  • Prepare daily production output summaries and weekly schedule performance reports
  • Support capacity planning and communicate lead times and constraints
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation in NetSuite
  • Manage digital and physical filing systems
  • Coordinate routine facility needs and vendor interactions
  • Facilitate monthly S&OP meetings and distribute action items
  • Maintain a 4–12 week forward‑looking capacity plan
  • Ensure accuracy of production data in NetSuite and enforce data standards
  • Develop monthly KPI dashboards and present trends to leadership
  • Train staff on NetSuite production processes and maintain SOPs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
