Job Summary: The Production Planner is a supervisory level position that organized and control production for a specific manufacturing area of the plant with their primary be focus being two days to 2 weeks out.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 7 plus years of manufacturing experience
  • Ability to climb ladder and stairs
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
  • Must pass respirator fit test
  • Day shift is typical.
  • Position requires spending time on-call and response to requests for support during off hours, weekends and holidays.
  • This includes emergency response.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree or higher in a science related field a plus
  • Manufacturing supervisory experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Plans, implements and reviews the production schedule
  • Develops and achieves department goals that align with corporate goals
  • Champions Health, Safety and Environmental programs and compliance
  • Champions Statistical Process Control and continuous improvement to minimize out of spec production
  • Champions process improvements for both work process and chemical manufacturing process equipment and operations
  • Works closely with Maintenance, Engineering, QA/QC lab, to achieve corporate goals
