About The Position

The Production Planner Scheduler plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes within the non-durable goods sector. This onsite role at our Jackson, GA plant is responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules that align with customer demand and inventory levels, ultimately driving operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The successful candidate will analyze production data and collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to optimize resource allocation and minimize downtime. By forecasting production needs and adjusting schedules accordingly, the Production Planner Scheduler will contribute to meeting production targets, enhancing productivity, and ensuring our products are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with ERP systems and production planning software.
• Certification in production and inventory management (CPIM or similar).
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
