About The Position

Entegris is seeking a full time Day Shift Production Planner to support daily manufacturing operations at their Hillsboro, Oregon facility. This role is a key contributor to production execution, material readiness, and system integrity across the plant. As a Production Planner, the individual will partner closely with the Production Manager’s team, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Operations to ensure production orders are accurately created, prioritized, and executed. The role plays a critical part in maintaining production continuity by identifying system or process issues, escalating risks, and driving improvements that enhance material and information flow. This position directly supports Entegris’ commitment to operational excellence, product quality, and customer delivery, serving as a critical connector between systems, people, and processes to ensure the plant runs efficiently, reliably, and safely.

Requirements

  • Ability to work positively, collaboratively, and constructively in a team based manufacturing environment
  • Associate or Technical degree, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of SAP, LIMS, and/or similar ERP/ MES systems
  • Proven track record of contributing to operational success and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly and professionally across functions and with business leadership
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
  • Self motivated with the ability to work independently under general guidance
  • Demonstrated capability to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • Strong problem solving mindset with the ability to identify improvement opportunities and recommend practical solutions to systemic or process issues
  • Flexibility and resilience, with the ability to adapt effectively to change in a dynamic manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update priority production schedules, proactively communicating deviations from plan
  • Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to generate accurate production plans, ensuring correct bills of material aligned to product and customer requirements
  • Review, screen, and update raw material requirements based on inputs from Quality, Planning, and Engineering
  • Ensure batch data accuracy, including preparation and printing of production batch documentation for Operations
  • Update and manage production routings through approved and validated work centers based on product and customer specifications
  • Track and escalate production constraints, including SAP, MES, or LIMS downtime and other operating system issues
  • Initiate and participate in projects to improve system flow, addressing both digital (ERP/MES) and physical material flow constraints on the factory floor
  • Document and record nonconformances related to quality or process deviations
  • Print, pair, and distribute change notices and trial documentation to applicable production batches
  • Collaborate with Engineering on hold dispositions and timely release of material back to production
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, ensuring system and physical alignment
