About The Position

The Production Planner for the Gas Division at ISCO is responsible for coordinating production workflows to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal delays. This role involves planning and prioritizing operations, determining necessary resources, and executing administrative production activities. The planner will also engage in hands-on work on the shop floor, ensuring quality and timely production.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, or communications
• Some level of experience in a production or fabrication environment
• Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Background in algebra & geometry, construction, manufacturing, or engineering

Responsibilities

• Scheduling the daily production of the Natural Gas Division based on labor, material and equipment availability
• Daily communication with plant, fabrication managers/leads and sales regarding priorities and resources
• Creating bills of material for custom fabrication from CAD drawings
• Collaborating with the procurement of required materials
• Entering work orders in the business system
• Compiling various test data for the customer reports
• Monitoring and managing the production schedule (MAR)
• Estimating hours required to complete each work order
• Communicating lead times and expected completion dates to the sales team
• Monitoring inventory levels of standard stocking fabricated items
• Balancing workload across plants by moving work orders, materials and equipment to plants with available labor
• Planning for and implementing contingencies due to slips in material delivery, fabricator absence, and down equipment
• Performing other duties as assigned.
