About The Position

The Production Photographer is responsible for coordinating and executing product photography to support both web and internal business needs. This role creates weekly pick lists using internal reporting tools, opens, photographs, and repackage parts while ensuring accurate documentation of image and part numbers. The Production Photographer transfers images to the server for editing and submits content for post-production through JIRA. This position works closely with the OFC to coordinate part picking and put away and is responsible for maintaining and managing all photography equipment to ensure an efficient and consistent workflow. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years’ related experience and/or training.
  • Experience in working with the technical aspects of the Performance Product Aftermarket.
  • Knowledge of photography methods and procedures.
  • Knowledge of professional photography equipment use and assembly.

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive knowledge while not required is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operation and understanding of photography equipment such as light boxes, flash units, and professional cameras.
  • In-depth understanding of how to light and place an object while choosing the proper camera exposure.
  • Ensure all photography is shot from the customers perspective and needs.
  • Alert leadership team when system problems or discrepancies are encountered.
  • Communicate directly with the OFC to coordinate part delivery and put away.
  • Create photography maps to link part numbers to image numbers for post production editing.
  • Ensure proper communication with post production editing staff.
  • Maintain all applicable department performance standards
