Requirements

• Machine Operating Experience preferred
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to walk and stand for most of a 10-hour shift
• Quality-driven and self-motivated
• Dependable and punctual
• Physical capacity to lift 30 lbs.
• High School Diploma required

Responsibilities

• Pack finished product into shipping cases.
• Pass packed cases through a tape machine for conveying into the warehouse.
• Ensure all necessary materials for the position are accounted for, including clipboards, production downtime sheets, and cleaning supplies.
• Assist the Filler Operator in monitoring film rolls and notify them when film is low.
• Identify and verify the correct box for each product.
• Monitor the tape machine and printer for proper functioning and notify the Filler Operator of any issues.
• Keep the packing belt clean during the shift and wipe it off if the machine is down.
• Notify the Filler Operator of any quality defects in the product or packaging.
• Correct or rework any out-of-spec products or packages as instructed.
• Maintain legible paperwork and account for all downtime on the downtime sheet.
• Keep work areas orderly and clean.
