Under general supervision, the Production Painter applies industrial paint finishes onto metal products through spray gun application. What You’ll Do Operate and Shape: Load, feed, and unload material through paint process & Operate spray painter gun to apply industrial paint finish on material Prepare and Set Up: Set up machines and confirm specifications using drawings, blueprints, tablets, or other tools. Lift and Position Materials: Safely use lifting devices, such as cranes and forklifts, to position materials or parts as needed. Ensure Quality: Complete quality checks to ensure the correct thickness of paint is properly applied to material throughout the process and touch up as needed & Ensure materials are properly labeled and scanned upon exiting paint line Contribute to Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities. Maintain and Organize: Keep track of material inventory, perform machine maintenance, and support housekeeping and organizational standards, such as 5-S practices.
