Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to understand general arithmetic, understand verbal or written instructions, and to read and understand instructions.
  • Effectively manage workload in consideration of time demands.
  • Self-motivated with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for following proper repair procedures and performs all refinish procedures according to factory specifications and NAI policy to restore to their original appearance.
  • Utilize air sanders, spray guns, sanding blocks, etc. to complete quality work.
  • Manage & control materials cost maximizing usage and inventory.
  • Prepare Mix paint colors, and ensure all formulations, preparations, top coating and curing meet NAI recommended standards for proper application sequence, timing, and materials usage.
  • Follow all paint manufacturing guidelines.
  • Spray test panels to ensure texture match.
  • Assist in prep work when necessary.
  • Ensure that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed, and all prior paint-related disassembly has been reassembled prior to returning the units to quality Control.
  • Complete QC sheet for every vehicle as applicable.
  • Adhere to all regulatory compliance guidelines for hazardous waste disposal.
  • Maintain clean, orderly, and organized work area.
  • Comply with NAI safety rules, guidelines, and standards.
  • Perform other duties as required to successfully meet the needs of the business.
  • Receive instruction and training in painting Equipment and repair on a variety of items associated with Medical Diagnostic Equipment.
  • Responsible for demonstrating progress in learning to paint and repair work.
  • Fills in assists with whatever other duties, as called upon and/or as needed.
  • Regular attendance consistent with Company Attendance Policy.
