Location: Global Pump Facility / Service Department / Davison, MI

Shift: 2nd (Afternoon)

Requirements

• Previous experience in industrial painting or production painting
• A Good Learning Orientation
• Effective Time Management
• Ability to lift heavy objects (75lbs) and perform strenuous physical labor
• Ability to wear a respirator
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Responsibilities

• Apply coatings through conventional, airless and other types of spray systems
• Mix paints to desired colors and consistencies
• Perform grinding, sanding, polishing, and air-powered sandblasting to prepare surfaces
• Prepare, prime, and paint pumps, parts, and various equipment as needed
• Mask and cover surfaces not to be painted
• Operate and maintain paint spraying equipment
• Examine finished parts or equipment to ensure proper surface prep and finished quality
• Order paint and keep equipment in a safe, clean condition
