About The Position

CornellCookson, a division of Clopay Corporation, is a leading door and grille manufacturer located in Mountain Top, PA where we manufacture a complete line of overhead door and closure products, designed for commercial industrial, institutional and retail use. We are seeking outstanding, highly motivated and energetic candidates to join our growing team on all shifts. We are looking to fill positions in : Guide Prep (Fabricator) -1st Shift Tapping holes in drilled out tubes and interlock plates / Grind down welds / Form bell mouths / Weld on wind locks,/Drill tube holes as required Shaft Assembly (Fabricator)- 1st Shift Assemble and mark pipe according to shop sheets / Drill pipe, grease spring and place in pipe / Weld gear ends and fasten. Curtain Wrapper (Packaging) - 2nd Shift Forming 7 ft. cardboard forming machine to create containers / Cut with Band Saw / Place completed curtain into container / Use banding gun to fasten banding with clips / Write Job # and truck letters on package. Folder Operator (Machine Operator) - 3rd Shift Work with Computer programs to properly bend sheet metal / Form sq. hoods to the exact description on shop sheet / Apply proper cut outs to sheet metal / carry formed hoods to packing area Powder Coat - Load/Unload (Packager) - 3rd Shift Load conveyor system / Perform and record thickness test / fill out ISO tags and update computer schedule / Unload and correctly tag product. Requirements

Qualified candidates must possess a High School diploma
Must be able lift up to 50 pounds
Have the ability to work at a quick pace
Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility
Understand, interpret and utilize blueprints / drawings
Ability to use hand tools and read a tape measure with accuracy
Computer knowledge
Meet Safety, Production and Quality standards

Responsibilities
