About The Position

This position is located in Woodstock and involves working the 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am. The role primarily focuses on performing duties in the finishing department, which includes micro-sanding products, inspecting product quality, and handling materials.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties in the finishing department including micro-sanding products according to specifications.
• Inspects product and makes adjustments as necessary.
• Slits and/or rewinds materials.
• Handles materials and appropriately labels them.
• Visually checks work for quality and flags or removes defective areas.
• Cuts sample strips and retests materials as indicated by roll instructions or supervisor.
• Detects unusual conditions and reports to supervisor.
• Maintains and cleans work area/equipment.
• Performs various other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Rotates between duties as required.
