About The Position

The Production Operator at Nestlé will be responsible for the operation, adjustment, and troubleshooting of equipment in the production and packaging areas of a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Glendale, Arizona. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient production of popular coffee enhancer products while adhering to quality and safety standards. The position will initially follow a Monday-Friday day shift schedule and will transition to a continuous operations schedule, requiring flexibility and teamwork to meet production goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to operate and support a positive Nestlé culture and follow established values.
  • Ability to train others and take responsibility for equipment and coworkers.
  • Proactive individual with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Detail-oriented with accurate record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in food manufacturing or beverage production.
  • Familiarity with HACCP and quality management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, clean, and inspect equipment in production and packaging areas.
  • Complete effective and efficient changeovers between production runs.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and adhere to quality standards outlined in the HACCP plan and other quality SOPs.
  • Pull product samples as required and perform quality inspections on the product and packaging.
  • Perform sanitation of the equipment and area, including disassembly and assembly of equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with peers to recommend improvements for optimizing production.
  • Perform daily, routine safety inspections of material handling equipment.
  • Execute preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment.
