About The Position
PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking dedicated Production Operators to join our team in Fremont, California. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a hands-on work environment and are passionate about contributing to a team that prioritizes quality and innovation. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for performing various tasks including hand soldering, manual assembly, and operating both semiautomatic and automated assembly equipment. You will also set up and operate automated test equipment and functional test units, ensuring that all products meet our high-quality standards through thorough inspection and repair processes. In this position, you will utilize visual aids, wiring lists, and both verbal and written instructions to guide your work effectively. You will be expected to inspect component parts before assembly, rejecting any that do not meet our stringent quality criteria. The role operates within a High Mix Low Volume (HMLV) model, requiring you to switch between different tasks or products as needed, which adds variety and challenge to your daily responsibilities. We are looking for individuals who possess expertise in product quality, soldering specifications, and manufacturing information systems. A strong problem-solving ability is essential, as you will need to recognize and communicate any issues that arise during the operation process.
