About The Position

Darigold is seeking a motivated Production Operator to join the team at our Rainier Plant in Seattle, WA. As a member of the Operations team, the Production Operator should possess the desire and ability to contribute to the success of the plant. Our plants create nutritious products 24/7, 365 days a year - availability to work multiple shifts, including weekends and holidays is a must! The ideal candidate for this role excels in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple repetitive tasks. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high quality products is required. You should enjoy working with others to achieve team goals but have the ability to work independently without direct supervision. This is a full-time hourly union position. Requirements

  • High school or GED.
  • Must be capable of heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
  • Available to work multiple shifts in a 24/7 environment.
  • Able to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, food processing is preferred.
  • Mechanical skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safe and efficient operation of an assigned machine.
  • Maintain an organized work area and perform ongoing cleaning tasks in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Maintain efficiency standards set for the operating area.
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to complete multiple repetitive tasks with an attention to detail and must be committed to accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work with others to achieve team goals.
  • Ability to maintain high attendance standards and be trusted with a high level of responsibility.
