We’re hiring Production Operators to join our Madison manufacturing team on 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday, 10:00pm–6:30am). The Role and your impact: Under the direction of the Production Lead, the Production Operator is responsible for operating production equipment according to established instructions and procedures. The role ensures adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Standard Work Instructions (WIs), and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) to consistently deliver high-quality products in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 1+ year of relevant experience in a food, dietary supplement, or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work within established routines, methods, and procedures under defined management controls.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team.
  • Personal accountability for following safety rules, SOPs, and cGMP guidelines.
  • Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Basic documentation and data-recording skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all job duties safely while using required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Identify, report, and address unsafe behaviors or equipment to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including housekeeping and 5S standards.
  • Demonstrate and comply with Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures.
  • Follow GMP and Food Safety requirements to ensure products are safe and meet quality standards.
  • Participate in and execute sanitation activities to maintain sanitary production areas.
  • Accurately and legibly record operational and production data on required documentation.
  • Escalate equipment issues or downtime when support is required.
  • Operate equipment within the assigned production area to meet daily production and quality targets.
  • Weigh, count, and verify product accurately.
  • Check materials in and out accurately and maintain material traceability.
  • Perform Disassembly, Cleaning, and Reassembly (DCRs) safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all SOPs and Work Instructions as written.
  • Print and apply labels accurately.
  • Complete all required training on time and assist with training others when assigned.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and team projects.
  • Maintain a positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
