Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Basic use of a computer
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
  • Ability to perform physical job duties, which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with advance notice

Nice To Haves

  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, & division
  • Basic experience in troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems
  • Familiarity with the SAP system is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all safety rules and regulations
  • Perform daily equipment checks and condition monitoring
  • Operate forklifts (certification required – training will be provided)
  • Maintain feed safety standards, including daily bag tests and sample retention
  • Operate and maintain labeling and inkjet printing systems
  • Run, monitor, and maintain block mixing and block press systems
  • Troubleshoot and maintain dust collection systems
  • Operate and maintain block palletizer equipment
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot mineral mix bagging systems
  • Ensure availability for overtime as needed
  • Monitor salt quality and uphold high standards for block products
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas
  • Complete routine paperwork accurately
  • Work cooperatively and courteously with team members
  • Execute tasks as assigned by the lead or supervisor
  • Confirm product and goods issue material in the SAP system
  • Ensure 100% downtime tagging accuracy in the RT DUET system
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality while working independently and collaboratively within a team
