About The Position

The Production Operator plays a pivotal role in day-to-day Production operations to create our customized flavors. Operator's will use lab materials, such as pipettes, scales, beakers, bottles, and jars, to follow flavor recipes to create our small flavor pours, which are high impact flavors mixed on a smaller scale. Production Operators will also support our Packaging and Production teams by completing additional duties and responsibilities in the warehouse to achieve daily goals.

Requirements

Ability to effectively communicate with all colleagues, levels of management, vendors, and customers
Knowledge of forklift operation and rules of safety
Basic understanding of quality control, production, and food safety
Ability to produce and maintain accurate records
Strong attention to accuracy and detail
High school diploma or equivalent
6+ months of flavor batching experience
Forklift certification

Nice To Haves

1+ year of flavor compounding experience

Responsibilities

Create small pours for flavor batches
Assemble raw materials associated for each product batch
Start and complete product batch according to formula
Set up and label boxes
Mixing and manufacturing liquid and powder formulations, including natural and organic flavors, extracts, and complex batches
Make adjustments if needed and ensure accurate documentation
Package finished flavors
Assist other Production Operators with flavor batch creations
Inspect and approve level or required PPM of cleaning and sanitation solutions
Inspect bottles, pails, and other containers to ensure that packing specifications are met
Perform duties in compliance with company safety rules, SOP’s and GMP’s
Submit samples to Quality Assurance for testing and approval
