About The Position

PABCO® Gypsum, a division of PABCO® Building Products LLC, has provided quality gypsum board products and service for over 35 years. PABCO® Gypsum supplies a complete line of gypsum products for commercial and residential construction. Production Operator We are currently accepting resumes for a Production Operator in Newark, CA. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: The position is in the Production Department which is maintaining cleanliness of the facility, operating machinery including forklifts and other projects. It’s a physical job and the environment is dusty and can be hot. Pay starts at $30.20 / hour. There are Shift Differentials: (Swing: + $0.75 / hour, Grave: + $1.00 / hour). Must be able to work all shifts (Day: 6 am – 2 pm Swing: 2 pm – 10 pm Grave: 10 pm – 6 am) on a Weekly Rotating Basis.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Lift and/or move 60 pounds and more
Regular attendance is required

Responsibilities

Forklift driving and manufacturing experience, preferred
Ability to work rotating shifts
Provides extra help during equipment failures and special production runs on the machine.
Assists with “down days” and startup of production line procedures
Assists in housekeeping duties
Ability to lift 60 pounds and more
Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
