About The Position

Darigold is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Operator to join the team at our Issaquah Plant. As a member of the Operations team, the Production Operator should possess the desire and ability to contribute to the success of the plant. Our plants create nutritious products 24/7, 365 days a year so availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, is a must! The ideal candidate for this role excels in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple repetitive tasks. You will have a strong attention to detail and are committed to producing high quality product. You also enjoy working with others to achieve team goals but can work independently without direct supervision in a union environment. This is a full-time hourly union position. What You Will Do: Follow instructions from leads/supervisors. Follow all procedures and clean up including GMPs. Run chemical tests on all CIPs. Document all production data clearly and accurately. Keep supervisors and Maintenance informed of any mechanical issues. Inspect the equipment prior to setting up for production, during production, during CIP and report possible mechanical deficiencies. Must be able to complete all QA checks and documentation accurately. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Ability to work with required sanitation chemicals. Ability to utilize professional methods of communication within the butter department to create a positive environment. Complete PMs and other environmental tasks as assigned. Follow and comply with Safety and Quality Assurance practices. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by leads/supervisors/managers. Days off subject to change.
