Production team member to work in a process production environment operating and maintaining multiple machines at one time. ESENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include, but not limited to, the following: Consult with preceding shift team member. Check schedule, production, and quality reports. Check job, verify number of ends running. Check creel, creel packages as needed, remove empty packages, tie on packages making sure tail is free. Check thread path through machine, correct deficiencies if found, check for coating buildup at top roll. Mix up coating formula as needed. Repeat steps above on cycle throughout shift. Perform LOI and lube extraction’s, record data. Perform strength and elongation checks, record data. When the scheduled product has been wound on spools, doff machine (i.e. remove full packages and replace with empty spools) and continue to produce product. Put full spools on pallet, weigh product and fill out doff sheet and attach to pallet. Record weight onto production sheet. Sweep around area. If production run is completed on your shift: Remove coating mix to storage. Remove coating tank and rolls, clean thoroughly. Remove remaining raw material from creel to storage. At the end of shift discuss coater and priorities with next shift of team members. Perform set-up on coater at beginning of production run as needed. Creel raw material onto creel Thread ends from creel through tank, through oven and onto each position on takedown. Mix proper coating formula. Put the coating tank under the oven. Fill tank with coating formula Start up production run. Attend meetings as scheduled. Assist in other areas as needed.
