This position is responsible for: Inspection of finished goods to ensure that stamping, packaging, and labeling standards are met Following all safety rules and guidelines Producing products that meet Umicore quality standards and within customer specifications Responsible for keeping work area and other areas clean and organized Other duties as assigned 12-hour continental shifts Commit to upholding, respecting, and ensuring compliance with the health and safety standards established by the company guidelines.  Actively promote a culture of care by collaborating on preventative measures and continuous improvement actions related to health and safety activities

Requirements

  • Grade 12 diploma
  • 2-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Computer literacy – Preferably with Microsoft Office (excel, word, outlook)
  • Highly motivated
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to show initiative and innovative thinking
  • Comfortable standing for long periods of time
  • Ability to work alone

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of 5S a plus
  • Knowledge of SAP and experience in quality environment systems are preferred
  • Batch-making experience is an asset
