SUMMARY The Production Operator is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment (Doctor Machine). the Operator must understand machine operation and be able to make basic machine adjustments.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to print simple sentences and legibly complete reports and time cards.
Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

Sets up production equipment per process specifications and makes basic machine adjustments.
Inspects and assesses product quality per established specifications.
Understands machine operation, function and production requirements.
Prepares production logs, work orders, downtime summaries.
Records production data for production reporting.
Follows and participates in plant safe housekeeping guidelines designed to ensure a safe work environment.
