Production Operators are responsible for the accurate and timely production of water base and UV inks, labeling and moving materials to the appropriate storage location. As well as utilizes computer system (SAP) to perform transactions as applicable. Job Responsibilities Produce a variety of inks and ink intermediates by following standard operating procedures. Locate materials and supplies and verify materials and supplies listed on production orders. Carry out various tasks in the preparation, reaction and storage of a variety of products, using mixers, pumps, filters, forklifts and other manufacturing equipment. The Operator will come in contact with a variety of chemicals and chemical waste products, some of which can be hazardous. Batch processing includes changing material, processing batch, monitoring and recording data, loading, unloading and cleaning equipment, packaging product, maintaining a safe and orderly work area, assisting in other production areas as needed.
