About The Position

Grain Millers in Newton, WI (just outside of Manitowoc) is seeking a Production Operator for first shift/ days. No experience necessary! You will have the opportunity to learn all production equipment in a rotational training program. The Production Operator is primary responsibility for supporting the milling function by operating the production equipment. Job Status: Full-time Shift: Monday-Thursday (6am-4:30pm) THREE DAY WEEKENDS! Wage: Starting at $20/hour (increases after training period!) TOP NOTCH BENEFITS! Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Basic computer skills, ability to work in a team environment and attention to detail.
Must be able to follow instructions and have good time management skills.
Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees.

Responsibilities

Operate machinery used in cleaning and handling of specialty food ingredients.
Operate bagging equipment and palletizer.
Lift packaged products manually (up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis)
Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete.
General plant and ground sanitation.
Frequently lift/move equipment, chemical containers, and other material throughout the workday.
Wear personal protective equipment in the food processing areas.
Perform all tasks safely and in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Be willing to perform varying tasks per the supervisor's instructions.
