About The Position

Pronto Staffing is seeking a dependable production worker for a busy local manufacturing facility. Pronto Staffing is hiring a production team member to help process materials in a manufacturing setting. You will work with industrial tools and equipment to prepare products for shipping. This is a great role for someone who is mechanically inclined and likes to stay busy throughout their shift.

Requirements

• Must be able to speak and understand English
• Ability to use basic math and measuring tools
• Must have a valid ID and reliable transportation
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Must wear steel-toe boots, jeans, and a T-shirt
• Stand on concrete for the full 12-hour shift
• Lift 50 lbs or more throughout the workday
• Work in a facility with changing temperatures and climates
• Follow all safety rules while using heavy equipment

Nice To Haves

• Experience with forklifts and industrial saws is preferred

Responsibilities

• Use grinders and sanders to process plastic materials
• Operate large chainsaws to cut materials to size
• Drive a forklift to move materials through the facility
• Use tools like calipers and micrometers to check work
• Use basic math skills to complete production tasks
• Keep the work area safe and organized
