About The Position

Our growing company is seeking to hire 2nd Shift Production Operators (Robotic Welders). What Does It Take to Be a Fit for working at MEC? Sign-on Bonus $1,000 Paid Vacation upon hire, Benefits after 30 days Work week is Mon. through Fri., 2pm to 10pm. Currently working overtime, during the week and also Sat. and some Sun.

Requirements

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) combined with or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole number.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures adequate supply of component stock is at station to run machines
  • Lifting, positions, and removes work pieces from machines to assist in assembly, forming, fitting, and welding
  • Loads, stacks, and transports stock and work in process
  • Actively monitors the condition of product being produced
  • Accurately measures and checks parts for compliance
  • Picks up, cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment after use
  • Fills out production reports and labels product as needed
