The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Production Operator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Not limited to heavy lifting and moving of materials. Loading and unloading vehicles, and other activities in a helping or assisting mode. May involve working at heights and heavy lifting of 30 pounds or more. May also require the operation of industrial trucks or tractors equipped to move materials around a warehouse, storage yard, factory, construction site, or similar location. Requires forklift certification.
Requirements
- Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
- One (1) year of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
- Applicants meeting the basic qualifications above may be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process.
- Requires forklift certification.
Nice To Haves
- Three (3) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Package, MES knowledge.
- Understanding of Lean Management Systems, and lean tools.
