Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • A.A./B.S. or related degree in a scientific or technical field (preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in a mechanical or industrial plant environment
  • Demonstrated mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite
  • Strong team player, able to work in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Ability to lift 55 pounds
  • Pre-employment drug screen and background check required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Delta V process control systems
  • Knowledge of enzyme manufacturing processes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment in enzyme production areas to ensure efficient manufacturing
  • Monitor processes and adjust parameters to maintain quality standards
  • Collaborate with engineers to optimize production and troubleshoot issues
  • Work with Delta V process control system for accurate operations
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on production equipment
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Document operational data and report deviations promptly
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the plant
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving efforts
