As we proudly celebrate 90 years of craftsmanship and innovation, Charter Casting is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. 2 Positions Available at Charter Casting — 2900 E Richmond St, Shawano, WI 54166 Molding Operator | 1st Shift | $23/hr Operate the various molding machines and set cores. Assemble and prepare sand molds for pouring. Inspect and prepare all patterns. Coordinate and communicate with melt and molding lines. Responsible for own safety and the safety of others in the area. Melt Deck Operator | 3rd Shift | $24.75 + Shift premium = $27/hr Transport melting materials and supplies; Operate melting furnace charging equipment Learn to operate the melting furnaces. Transport melting materials and supplies from the warehouse or other locations to the melt deck. Remove full slag hoppers from the melt deck and transport to commercial refuse containers. Requirements

  • 1 year prior experience working in manufacturing, foundry, metals, or related field
  • Someone who lives by our values of trust, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement
  • High School Diploma (we can help with our GED works program!)
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, and move up to 60lbs
  • Basic math and problem solving skills

  • Responsible for own safety and the safety of others in the area.
