About The Position

The Production Operator will work in a team production-based setting to assemble and produce American Battery Solutions (ABS) battery pack systems to meet customer requirements and expectations. The Production Operator is charged with assisting operations in the launch and assembly of new products.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Preferred manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in electrification assembly line/high voltage/electrical component handling/battery manufacturing preferred.
  • Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001 or TS16949.
  • Basic problem-solving capabilities for troubleshooting issues in the production environment.
  • Able to work in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in electrification assembly line/high voltage/electrical component handling/battery manufacturing preferred.
  • Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001 or TS16949.

Responsibilities

  • Assembly products to customer requirements and company goals.
  • Perform Preventive maintenance activities to support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
  • Support Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) activities.
  • Adhere to and support compliance to ergonomic guidelines.
  • Participate when required in Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and work instruction reviews.
  • Identify and support continuous improvement projects (e.g., cost reduction and efficiency improvements).
  • Assist with specification development for machinery and equipment.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Support weekend and off-shift work as required.
  • Adhere to federal and state regulations.
  • Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
  • Predictable and reliable attendance.
