Become part of our great team as a... Summary/Objective The Production Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring packaging equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role ensures that products are packaged according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory standards, and company procedures, while maintaining high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency. This is a 1st shift position, Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Cleanroom: Operates washing, packaging, vision inspection, steam sterilizer machines and other auxiliary equipment to support the washing, packaging, inspection, and sterilization processes including SAP interactions in accordance with SOP’s and WI’s to produce rubber stoppers in accordance to productivity standards. Adheres to all safety rules in accordance with SOP’s, GMP as well as federal, state and local safety regulations. Expected to demonstrate our Company values and Code of Conduct. Regular attendance and punctuality required in order to meet production needs of customers. Willingness to work in shifts (late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary Demonstrates a strong commitment to quality. Works conscientiously and accurately, recognizes details. Identifies problems in time and strives to solve to solve them. Collaborates on DPS initiatives for continuous improvement.

Requirements

High school diploma
One month, in plant training - TQM, SPC, GMO, SOP’s, in conjunction with;
Six months on the job training
Ability to speak, read and write English in order to understand operating and other related procedures and to complete all position related documentation.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic skills.
Performs basic computer skills
