We’re looking for a full-time, Production Operator to join our Day & Zimmermann team located in Texarkana , Texas. As the Production Operator, here’s the work you’ll do: Performing various work tasks involved in the receiving, unpacking, inspecting, assembling, breakdown, reworking, packing out and palletizing of component parts and finished ammunition. After having successfully passed the required training, operates a forklift or tow motor as assigned. Performs cleanup of work areas. Performs operations in accordance with written standard operating procedures and wears the required personal protective safety equipment. Manufactures items in accordance with latest drawings and specifications. This role is for you if you have these skills: Good manual dexterity and general good physical condition. Ability to work with small parts. Reading skills at a level normally acquired through high school education. Must be able to lift 35 - 60 pounds. When an employee is working on a job, he or she may be assigned to perform those duties of another classification which he or she can perform except that the time spent in such activity will not exceed fifty percent (50%) of any workweek. At no time shall an employee be assigned duties which he or she has neither the knowledge nor the skill to accomplish or which would compromise his or her personal safety or the safety of others.
