About The Position

Chemalloy LLC, based in Conshohocken, is a leading provider of powders of metals & alloys, minerals & mixes, and performance enhancers for the global welding industry. We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and possess a strong understanding of various production processes. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery, ensuring quality control, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our production line. Job Summary: Operate one or more machine or special purpose machines to crush and or size raw materials to specifications on production basis by performing the following duties:

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Forklift certified is preferred or willingly to be trained.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven track record of dependable and punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production equipment.
  • Lifts materials manually or using forklift to secure in fixture or loads automatic feeding device.
  • Forklift inspection before every shift.
  • Starts machine, engages feed, and observes operation.
  • Inspects and sizes products to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Moves machine controls and guides to adjust machine.
  • Replaces worn machine accessories, using hand tools.
  • Tends machine and equipment other than crushing/grinding equipment.
  • Must be able to manually load 50 lbs. onto pallets.
  • Record and keep accurate records for all production at end of each shift (production report- detailing the day)
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
