Production Operator

Darigold is seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our team at the Chehalis location. This role is essential to the success of our facility, and the ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to contribute positively to our operations. As a member of the Operations team, the Production Operator will collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals while working independently in a fast-paced environment. Reliability and good attendance are crucial for this position, which is part of a union workforce. The Production Operator will be responsible for routine monitoring of production processes and will respond to readings and checks during both production and cleaning processes (CIP). The role requires producing a quality product safely, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining proper and accurate documentation. A full understanding of instruments and equipment is necessary, along with a commitment to consistently follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines, Job Safety, and Food Safety requirements. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work independently and safely without direct supervision in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail is essential, as the role involves completing multiple and/or repetitive tasks while maintaining legible and accurate documentation. Teamwork is also important, as the Production Operator will work with others to achieve common goals. Reliable attendance and punctuality are mandatory, and the ability to lift heavy items (up to 56 pounds) is required. The position also necessitates standing for the entire shift and climbing stairs routinely. A commitment to following instructions and training, as well as compliance with safety standards, is expected. Experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment is strongly preferred, and candidates must be available to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays, as the facility operates 24/7/365.
