About The Position

The Milling CNC Machinist at rms Company is responsible for operating CNC machines to manufacture components and devices for the medical device industry. This role involves quality inspection, preventative maintenance, and tool changes to ensure optimal machine performance. The position is part of a team that emphasizes high-quality production using advanced technology.

Requirements

• Operator experience with Milling CNC machines
• Strong math background, preferable in machine math/shop math
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience using a microscope
• Ability to read measurement equipment such as micrometer, caliper, pressure micrometer

Nice To Haves

• Machining experience with medical components, devices, or instruments
• Previous experience with tight tolerances
• Programming experience with Milling CNC Machines
• Experience with set-up on Milling CNC Machines
• Experience in troubleshooting of Milling CNC Machines

Responsibilities

• Operate Milling CNC machines
