About the position
The Production Operator role in Coppell, TX, is a contract position focused on the manufacturing of high-quality active pharmaceutical ingredients. The operator will be responsible for various tasks in the production process, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards while working primarily during the night shift.
Responsibilities
- Perform large-scale API manufacturing tasks including weighing and dispensing chemicals, conducting chemical reactions, mixing, filtering, drying, and packaging.
- Execute manufacturing documents and maintain compliance with quality standards.
- Clean and maintain equipment and work areas to achieve prescribed levels of purity and quality in product output.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Experience operating basic electronic equipment and possessing basic computer skills.
- Familiarity with Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems.
- Ability to exert force up to 50 pounds occasionally and perform physical tasks as required.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical environment or regulated industry.
- College coursework in Science.
- Compounding experience.
