About The Position
Crane Composites is seeking dedicated Production Operators - Packagers to join our team at the Florence plant. This full-time position is essential to our manufacturing operations, where you will play a key role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, as previous experience is highly recommended. The position operates on the 2nd shift, from Monday to Thursday, with hours from 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM, and potential overtime from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM. Starting pay for this role is $22.75 per hour, with opportunities for increases after 90 days of employment. As a Production Operator - Packager, you will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the efficient packaging and handling of our products. This includes assisting in the coiling and stacking of finished materials, ensuring that all products conform to our quality standards, and properly packaging and banding materials as required. You will also operate machinery such as trim choppers and trash compactors, and maintain a clean and organized work area throughout your shift. Safety is a top priority, and you will be expected to adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including the proper disposal of chemicals and waste. In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will also assist in training new personnel and report any issues to the Group Leader. Your ability to communicate effectively, maintain good attendance, and demonstrate a positive work attitude will be crucial to your success in this role.
