About The Position

We're seeking team members who enjoy machine operations and an industrial setting. Do you love working with your hands? We're hiring and excited to meet you! We are seeking operators for our saws, bending machines and other production equipment to help us start up our new plant.  What You’ll Be Doing: Will perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to operating saws, benders, and other production equipment to meet customer requirements as specified by work order, blueprints and diagrams of the part. More experienced operators may perform independent setup following orientation and initial training.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Others as assigned.

Requirements

  • One-to-three months related experience, including: manufacturing or similar environment as parts loader/unloader, machine operator and/or part inspector.
  • Computer Skills are required - to perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Manufacturing software and ability to learn how to new programs.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 regularly and 75 lbs. as needed.
  • Ability to work shift assigned and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • consistent experience in manufacturing performing machine set-up, part inspections and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

  • May set up tools, dies and equipment, and make adjustments in dies and equipment used in producing product.
  • Use computer software to produce tickets and labels.
  • Operate equipment using efficient procedures to ensure meeting production standards and uses the necessary measuring tools to ensure required quality standards are met.
  • Keep all required records and maintain a clean work area.
  • Follow all verbal and written instructions pertaining to the operation of dies and equipment as well as any other jobs to which he/she may be assigned.
  • May require assistance of a lead person to make necessary adjustments to dies, machinery and equipment.
  • Perform the following processes: press set-ups and operation, buffing, packing, bending, deburring, sawing, sorting, reworking, helping other operators, operating of fork lift and/or cranes, loading and unloading parts from lines or machines
