About The Position

Kanto Corporation is seeking Production Operators to join our high-purity chemical manufacturing team on our day shift. In this role you will learn and perform essential production tasks, working side-by-side with experienced operators and supervisors. Through hands-on work and structured training, you’ll gain the skills, certifications, and knowledge to advance in your manufacturing career.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED required).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ work experience preferred (manufacturing, warehousing, or customer service).
  • Basic chemistry knowledge (high school level).
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic math skills (with calculator).
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirator and cleanroom gear as needed.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk for long periods, and work in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and Perform Production Tasks
  • Safely don and doff cleanroom attire and PPE.
  • Operate pallet jacks and overhead cranes (with certification).
  • Label, package, and inspect drums.
  • Prepare, wash, and fill drums with high-purity chemicals.
  • Calibrate tools and prepare filling equipment for use.
  • Maintain accurate digital records in Kanto’s inventory system.
  • Support Shift Operations
  • Arrive on time and participate in passdown meetings.
  • Follow assignments from senior operators and shift leads.
  • Maintain housekeeping and clean production work areas daily.
  • Safety Compliance
  • Follow all safety procedures without exception.
  • Stop work and alert team members if unsafe conditions are found.
  • Maintain respirator and HAZWOPER certifications.
  • Participate in daily safety shares and required training.
  • Quality Compliance
  • Adhere to standard Operating procedures (SOPs) and cleanroom protocols.
  • Wear required cleanroom attire in designated areas.
  • Report and assist in resolving any quality issues.
  • Participate in daily quality shares and root cause investigations.
