About The Position

Responsible for the safety, equipment, inspection, and assistance in overall Production operations in designated area. Act as a lead and assist the team with daily operations, monitor and report production and well information, analyze and solve production related problems, coordinate work and repairs on assigned facilities, maintain records and complete related reports. Help ensure a safe and efficient operations by handling the most complex operator duties.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six (6) or more years of experience in Production within the Oil & Gas Industry.
• Possess valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR) that meet Company's Insurance qualifications to operate Company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Follow all of the Safety, Health, and Environmental policies, procedures, and requirements, ensuring personal safety, safety of others, and safety of the surrounding area.
• Lead, support, and monitor Production Operators with the completion of their assignments, production optimization, maintenance, and ensure activities performed are consistent with procedures, policies, and safety regulations governing oil and gas production.
• Review and prioritize all work orders to plan and organize activities with the Production team.
• Assist with ensuring that all new hires go through Short Service Employee (SSE) program training.
• Monitor daily oil and gas production in assigned area, identify areas not operating correctly, troubleshoot complex production related issues, discuss and resolve outstanding maintenance issues with the team and management.
• Perform general regulatory and visual inspections such as check equipment, facility, leaks, condition, gauge pressures, safety devices, etc.
• Ensure equipment are in working order, troubleshoot various production abnormalities, and interact with relevant personnel to discuss and implement solutions to issues discovered in the field in safe manner.
• Provide updates and make suggestions to the Production Supervisor on all pertinent information including shift activity, performance, and training needs.
• Work together with the Flowback Supervisor to provide assistance and discuss status on jobs, equipment, scheduling, target flow rates, and potential issues to achieve desired production targets.
• Assist and partner with Safety and Engineering to create an effective Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Provide assistance to the Production Supervisor as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
