Requirements

• GED/high school diploma is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience interacting with mechanical systems.
• Proficient with the use of inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators for dimensional inspection of materials.
• Proven record of using inspection data.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow complex blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures.
• Basic computer navigation and utilization skills.
• Ability to work complex assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative.
• Ability to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, sets up, and maintains machines and equipment in the production line.
• Ensures the feeding of raw materials as per schedule.

• May lead and direct the work of others.
• Uses hand tools, adjusts, operates, and/or performs set-up on automatic or semi-automatic machines.
